What people are saying.

  • The space is beautiful and soothing, unrecognizable.

The space is beautiful and soothing, unrecognizable.

This location used to be my favorite Power Flow location, but I will not miss the orange walls;-). I was grieving when I heard of it closing; I am delighted with the changes it underwent with the amazing Jill McKeon as the owner.

I am super excited about the new fool-day schedule from 7 am to 7.30 pm-8.30 pm; it feels like pre-Covid Power Flow Glen Rock, just better.

Besides Asana classes, there are additional weekly options like Soundbath and Meditation. The 75-minute classes are back! There are also the 60-minute ones, yoga sculpt, heated and nonheated classes Yin Yang and Bootcamp. Several exciting workshops are coming up.

The studios are large; they rarely feel crowded. The heated room is hot, but not Bikram-Hot.

The instructors in the studio are magnificent.

They have supported my Yoga journey from the beginning until today.

I started yoga after forty after years of not doing anything physical. I can do things that I couldn't do when I was nine. And my family members are saying that I became more bearable to be around;-)

I discovered this studio following Patti Lewis. I was initially amazed by her ability to talk me through getting into Craw PLose with zero conditioning one month into yoga. I got addicted to her unique progressive super flowy sequences emphasizing breathing and beautiful mantra.

I remember my first class with Ben Wish. At some point, he said: "For those practicing inversions, now may be a good time," suddenly, there was a forest of legs in the air. I thought to myself, who are those insane people? I became one of them much sooner than I could imagine. Ben's weekend classes, the dharma, provide an embracing sense of community, a spiritual experience.

Every class of Amy Jean Pastor is different, and every single one feels like a workshop. She will challenge you. She will bring you to places you never knew existed.

Classes of Jill Mckeon are sweaty, joyful, and accessible to everyone. They encourage curiosity, playfulness, and going beyond your fears. I've found myself crying and laughing at her classes. I hope to see her practicing at the studio. Her practice is insane; Jill did a handstand every vinyasa the last time we were in the same class. Or that's how I remember it.

Ashtanga-based classes of Ernesto Elicea, drawing from various yoga lineages, bring a different approach to asana. You will learn and you will laugh.

Ro Hebner's classes are vigorous and soulful. There is a great sense of community. If you must finish on time, watch your clock, they will always run longer;-)

In the classes of Rebecca Rothman, you will find tapas, energy, sweat, and joyful flow.

Amber Casey offers creative sequencing all around your mat with non-traditional and inventive pose options.

Joshua Ehlin teaches powerful heated sequences with a lot of yin energy. Occasionally I would think: I don't like it, but it's exactly what I need!

Ann Schwarz sees her students. She is accommodating to both people new to yoga and experienced ones. She pays attention to proper alignment.

I appreciate Mathew Dwyer's humble and thoughtful way of teaching, his attention to alignment, and his sense of humor.

The classes of Melisa Dos Santos are vigorous, physical, and playful. Expect to find yourself upside down.

And I have yet to mention half of my favorite teachers.

Try different classes and see what you enjoy.

All the classes offer accommodations for both beginners and advanced practitioners. The instructors are attentive to the proper alignment. They will keep you safe, and they will keep you challenged. There will be breathing, sweating, and a sense of a warm, welcoming community.

  • It’s om-azing :) and I cannot wait to return.

I recently had the privilege of attending a week of classes at the new and vibrant yoga studio, Village Yoga, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the stage for an incredible yoga experience.

I took classes with three exceptional instructors: Jill, Amy, and Ben. Each of them brought their unique style and approach to the mat, leaving me inspired and fulfilled after every session.

Jill's classes were extraordinary. Her deep curiosity and understanding of yoga, combined with her good humor and ability to design a harmonious flow made each class a captivating journey. I found myself completely immersed in the practice, moving with grace and intention. Jill's classes were a testament to the power of yoga as a means of self-expression and exploration. The carefully curated music playlists enhanced the entire experience, creating a climate that was both energizing and soothing.

Amy expertly broke down complex movements and made them accessible to practitioners of all levels. Her guidance and attention to detail were instrumental in helping me achieve uncharted poses and movements. Amy exuded positive energy and encouragement, creating a supportive environment that allowed me to push my boundaries and grow my practice.

When it comes to spirituality and strength, Ben's classes were unparalleled. His authentic approach to yoga seamlessly blended mindfulness, meditation, and mobility. His teachings went beyond the physical aspects of yoga, guiding me to explore the spiritual dimensions and harness the power of breath and presence. Again, my body felt rejuvenated.

While I only had the opportunity to take classes with Jill, Amy, and Ben, I would bet that all Village Yoga instructors are superb.

The studio offers a diverse range of classes throughout the day, accommodating practitioners from beginners to seasoned yogis. The supportive, non-judgmental scene fosters a strong sense of community, where practitioners can connect, support each other, and grow together on their yoga journey. Whether you're a beginner seeking to build a solid foundation or an advanced practitioner looking to deepen your practice, Village Yoga will provide tools to help you unlock your full potential.

In addition to the talented and welcoming staff, Village Yoga hosts a variety of workshops, events, and wellness programs that add even more value to your yoga practice. From workshops on instruction to specialized classes for specific areas of the body, Village Yoga goes above and beyond to enhance your overall well-being. It’s om-azing :) and I cannot wait to return.
